Site Consulting Engineers was established in the Kansas City metropolitan area in the early 2020s to continue that engineering practice with an emphasis on experienced professional judgment, practical design, and direct principal-level involvement.

The firm’s approach responds to an industry trend toward increasing reliance on entry-level staff and production-focused design, sometimes at the expense of sound engineering judgment and fundamental site-design principles. The result can be inefficient, over-designed, or unnecessarily constrained projects that satisfy minimum approval requirements without representing the best technical or economic solution.

Site Consulting Engineers combines traditional engineering fundamentals with modern analytical tools to develop practical, constructible designs that reduce risk and unnecessary cost. Where appropriate, this approach can also support strategic redesign of existing or previously proposed improvements to improve performance, constructability, and long-term value.

In addition to private land development, the firm offers technical engineering services supporting FEMA Public Assistance disaster recovery, including damage assessment, scope and cost development, engineering feasibility, codes and standards evaluation, project closeout, and resilience considerations.
